Zambian Super League side Red Arrows have confirmed roping in Kenyan duo of goalkeeper Ian Otieno and striker Andrew Tololwa after “weeks of intensive trials.”
The two were free agents after ending their stints with Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards at the end of last season.
“The new players will be officially unveiled at a date to be announced soon at the Red Arrows FC’s Secretariat in Lusaka,” the Air Force sponsored side announced.
The club has also brought on board ten more new faces including Ugandan striker Samuel Ssekamate from KCCA and Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Adoko from Kingfesa.
While ten others have been sent on loan including Lubinda Mundia, who has joined Tanzania’s top league side Singida United.
Arrows are one-time Zambian Champions. The club is based in the capital Lusaka and plays their home matches at 5000 capacity Nkoloma Stadium.
The Zambia’s top league is home to other Kenyan players namely Jesse Jackson Were, Anthony Akumu and David Owino of Zesco United and Ismael Dunga of Napsa Stars.
