COACH BUPE: Bupe is just a simple person in love with football.Completed my high school in 2004 and went on to do social work with UNZA.

YOU SEEM TO BE EVERYTHING. AGENT, COACH, FAN AND FAMILY MAN. HOW DO YOU MIX ALL THE THINGS.
COACH BUPE: Football has taken a larger part of my life,but i try all my best to live a balanced life and make sure that i fulfill my responsibilities.the

TELL US YOUR HISTORY WITH LIVINGSTONE PIRATES?
COACH BUPE: I started supporting livingstone Pirates since i was a kid.My father was a coach at Pirates so i used to watch pirates not only during league games but training sessions as while.I was also a ball boy for Pirates. My elder brother played for Pirates so is my younger brother so their is that bond between My family and Pirates. Am the only one in the family who has not played for Pirates.So i hope to coach livingstone pirates in the near future.

WHY DO YOU THINK THIS TEAM HAS STRUGGLED TO BREAK THROUGH TO THE SUPER LEAGUE?
COACH BUPE: For a long time we have struggled to break into the elite league despite having great coaches at the club.Their are so many reasons i can outline but i feel the major one has being failure by management to motivate the team.There has been too much politics with successful administrators and the team has suffered because of inadequete planning.

LIVINGSTONE PIRATES WAS ALMOST RELEGATED IN 2015 SEASON. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE SEASON?
COACH BUPE: The 2015 season was the most painful season for me since i started supporting Pirates.Some of the reasons that costed us to perform badly was the firing of coaches within a short period of time,it was a difficult period for all of us who love the team and thank God we survived the storm.

NEWS BROKE THROUGH OVER THE WEEKEND OF AN EXPATRIATE COACHING LIVINGSTONE PIRATES. WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF THAT PROJECT?
COACH BUPE: This project of an expatriate coach started early last year.The whole deal has not yet being made public but what i know is that the white man is head coach at pirates and will invest something in the team,these are just speculation and we await for official statement from management.

AS A FAN DO YOU THINK IT’S A GOOD MOVE FOR PIRATES?
COACH BUPE: Its a good move not only for pirates but for all coaches in livingstone.The man is bringing expertise to the team,we just need to give him our support especially that he is new to the system.But fans should not expect a miracle immediatly for football is not like magic but a process that needs time.

ARE WE EXPECTING LIVINGSTONE PIRATES IN THE SUPER LEAGUE NEXT SEASON?
COACH BUPE: I really hope and pray that Pirates wins promotion.We have 80 percent chance of breaking into the elite league this season.

IF LIVINGSTONE PIRATES GOES TO THE SUPER LEAGUE. WHICH TEAMS DO YOU THINK WILL BE RELEGATED FROM THE SUPER LEAGUE.
COACH BUPE: I think Blackpool,Nakambala,nchanga and Red Arrows

COACH BUPE: I will give 3 best players in last season’s team 1.Evans Janga Janga 2.Clement Chewe 3.Charles Chewe CC7

A LEAF IN THE SUPER LEAGUE. WHICH TEAM DO YOU THINK WILL BE CHAMPION IN 2016?
COACH BUPE: ZANACO will win the league.

WHICH TEAM DO YOU SUPPORT IN THE SUPER LEAGUE?
COACH BUPE: I have a soft heart for might mufurila wanderers.

WE HEAR YOU ARE AN AGENT FOR CC7. KINDLY CONFIRM IF THE PLAYER WILL STILL BE AT LIVINGSTONE PIRATES IN 2016.
COACH BUPE: Not really an agent.I have coached CC7 in my junior under 12 teams so am like managing the boy.CC7 will not play for pirates this season.We thank the boy for great contribution he made to the team and personally i thank pirates for the great opportunity they gave the boy.

COACH BUPE WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT FOOTBALL FAN OF THE DAY?
COACH BUPE: Its a great initiate for most of the time we come to know the fans of foreign teams.But now we are able to know fans for our local teams through this initiate.Its really great work.
