Zesco United captain Jacob Banda has been cleared by the Ndola Central Hospital Cardiac department in the latest ECG test conducted.

Team doctor Stephen Mbewe said Banda will be incorporated in the team’s training program next week.

He said the medical report stated that no cardio abnormalities had been detected in the player.

‘The last report shows that Jacob who had been out for less than the prescribed two months is able to start training with the rest of the team.’

In late May, Jacob was excused and was given sick leave due to fatigue and what was suspected as a cardio vascular problem.

The diagnosis stated that he had a clot near the heart cavity that was causing him to be fatigued constantly.

In his absence, Lameck Nyangu and yesterday Brown Nyirenda have been slotting in win relative success.

Zega return to league action tomorrow against Green Buffaloes at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
