Cameroon 0-1 Ivory Coast

Cote d’Ivoire became the seventh nation to cruise into the quarter finals with a hard fought victory over Cameroon in Mongomo.

The Indomitable Lions finished bottom of group D after Mali and Guinea cancelled each other out in Malabo.

Mali 1-1 Guinea

Mali and Guinea will be hoping for lady luck to smile their way after they finished their respective group matches tied in every aspect. Tournament rules dictate in such a scenario, lots must be cast in the next 24 hours to decide who goes through.
The Syli Nationale took an early lead,Kevin Constant tucking away a penalty on fourteen minutes. Skipper Seydou Traore missed an equal opportunity from the spot, his weak effort well saved as the Eagles sought to restore parity. They were duly rewarded on sixty four minutes when Modibo Maiga headed in a right channel searching cross.
