Tunisia 1-1 Congo DR

Tunisia and Congo Democratic Republic tied but both proceeded to the quarter finals on a rain swept night in Bata.
Ahmed Akaichi headed the Carthage Eagles into the lead on the half hour mark, taking advantage of Congo’s disjointed offside trap.
Loteteka Bokila restored parity, racing onto a long pass and knockdown header by Diabo Mbokani to tap in past Mathlouthi on the Tunisian goal.
Robert Kidiaba made himself big to deny substitute Ahmed Younes while at the opposite end Yannick Bolasie’s acrobatic kick on eighty five minutes was well saved by Mathlouthi.

Zambia 0-0 Cape Verde

Cape Verde finished on level points with Congo DR but still went out after a dour stalemate against Zambia in Ebibeyin.
The Chipolopolo, champions in 2012, finished bottom of  group B with two points. They join Burkina Faso and Gabon, who exited the tournament on Sunday night.
