The Commercial and Business department of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will storm Ghana as part of preparation for the Total 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON).

The marketing and branding experts are expected to start branding the four (4) training pitches – El-wak, Presec Legon School, Nduom Sports Complex and Robert Mensah Sports Stadium as well as the two (2) stadia – Accra and Cape Coast Sports Stadium on November 11.

Seven (7) other nations are expected to land in the country early November for the continental championship.

The two-week championship will commence from November 17 to December 1.

Ghana has been drawn in Group A alongside Algeria, Mali and Cameroon.

Group B consist of Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and Zambia.

This year’s edition, held in the West African country for the first time, serves as qualifiers for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The three top three teams will qualify for the World Cup to be staged in France next year.
