Lionesses U17 of Cameroon beat Brazil 2-0 in a warm-up played on Sunday at Asu Stadium, Jordan.

Flora Kameni’s double in the 64th and 83rd minutes sealed the morale boosting triumph before they kick-start their FIFA U17 World Cup, Jordan campaign on Friday.

Cameroon, Ghana and Nigeria will represent the continent in the global youth tournament that commence on Friday September 30 in the Asian country.

The central African nation in group “B” together with Venezuela, Germany and Canada will curtain-raise the tournament against Canada at Al-Hassan Stadium, Irbid ahead of the official opening fixture pitting the hosts Jordan versus Spain at Amman International Stadium.

In other news, Cameroon’s senior women’s national team have confirmed two friendlies away Mali on 13th and 16th October; the country hosts the Africa Women Nations Cup from 19th November to 3rd December 2016.
