CIty of lusaka Football Club Executive Committee has recruited Hector Chilombo as the team’s new head coach until the end of the season after thr club fired Elijah Chikwanda. The club announced on their official Facebook page . Chilombo has been enganged on a performance based contract.

Chilombo, a former City of Lusaka and Zambia national team defender, has a huge  task  to guide City to safety who have lost 6 games this far and have not picked up any point in their last 4 matches.

Chilombo has had stints with Power Dynamos, Napsa Stars, Forest Rangers, Indeni and Red Arrows Football Clubs.

Chilombo will be assisted by Davy Musole and another assistant yet to be identified.

City of Lusaka Football Club has thanked the immediate former coach Elijah  Chikwanda for his dedication and contribution to the club during his tenure as head coach.
