Dwangwa shocks Nomads as Azam Tigers cruise past Silver Strikers

The TNM Malawian super league entered week two with  super league giants Be Foward wanderers being held to a frustrasting draw by  at home by rookie side Dwangwa at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.The nomads were coming from a win against Silver Strikers  while the Rookies lost their league match  opener to Blue eagles.Luke Milanzi scored for the Nomads  in the 39th minute before Chifundo Tawiha’s header settled matters at the breather.

At the Silveer stadium hosts Silver Strikers succumbed to a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Azam Tigers  with Blue Eagles holding Epac at the Nankhaka stadium.

in Lilongwe ,Bright Munthali scored a last minute goal to sink hosts Silver Strikers who were coming from  a frustrating  week  after they were beaten  by Mighty be forward wanderers.this is the second consecutive loss for the bankers  while Azam Tigers were held by newly promoted Maxi Bullets.

in another match dubbed the forces derby ,Moyale Barracks beat Kamuzu Barracks  3-1  while Blue Eagles  beat Epac 2-1 at Nankaka stadium.

 

 

Other matches to be  played today will see Red lions lock horns with giants Big Bullets as  Mzuni takes on Kamuzu Barracks at Mzuzu.Civo United will entertain Mafco at Civo.
