The Nigeria National soccer team the super eagles will depart to the Zambian mining city of Ndola on a chartered plane on Friday for their first Group …..match .
The eagles were scheduled to have their first training yesterday but they could not owing to the late arrivals of the foreign based players .They will however begin training today evening according to team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye
Meanwhile the super eagles coach Gernot Rohr has called two Nigeria Professional league players to his squad .Wikki Tourist’s Godwin Obaje and Enugu Rangers Chisom Egbuchulam.They replace Chelsea’s Victor Moses and Watford’s Success Isaac who are sidelined due to injuries.According to a letter by the premiership clubs,Moses has an armstring while Success had a knock.
The replacements are worthy according to Coach Rohr Obaje scored 18 goals in the just concluded Nigerian professional league helping his Bauchi based club wikki Tourist to the thrid position and a spot in next years Confederations cup.
Chisom on the other hand finished with 15 goals just behind Obaje and even scored a hatrick on the last day of the premier league in their 4-0 win over El Kanemi Warriors
