Nakumatt FC 1 -1Posta Rangers:

The Nationwide League got off to a pulsating start with Nakumatt FC hosting Posta Rangers.

Posta Rangers were held to a one all draw by hard fighting Nakumatt FC over the weekend at the Nyayo stadium.

Both teams were cautious, being the first game, and didn’t want to lose points.

Posta were clearly outplayed in the first half with Nakumatt going ahead at the stroke of half time, after the keeper gifted them goal to them through a school boy blunder.

Coach Saleh fielded a strong side with Collins Kisuya doing the donkey work as an offensive midfielder. Pascal Ochieng did a fine job in the defense as Nakumatt’s Captain made  wave after wave of attack.  The Posta Keeper was kept busy and he made several saves to keep his team in contention for the League title.

Posta rued their chances at the end of the game as they missed several open chances from Kisuya’s free kicks and dead ball situations.

However, Saleh’s boys came back fighting hard in the second half which yielded the equalizer.
