FKF PL REVIEW; Homeboyz, Bidco win Big in FKF PL

Kakamega Homeboyz and Bidco United registered big wins over the weekend as the FKF PL entered week 15 in various matches played across the country. At the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega,Hosts Kakamega Homeboyz continued with its unbeaten run when it saw off bottom placed FC Talanta 4-1 in a one sided match.

The win saw Homeboyz maintain the top spot at the log with 33 points same as Zoo Kericho who have an inferior goal difference.Zoo Kericho beat Nairobi Stima 1-0 in Kericho with a Johnson Ligala strike in the 40th minute.

The biggest loss however was the drubbing of Shabana at home; losing 1-4 against Bidco.They were trailing 0-3 at the break. The loss sends Shabana to the 7th position with 23 points while Bidco improves to the 8th position with 22 points, a point below Shabana.

Earlier on Saturday 6th June 2015, Kariobangi Sharks held Nakumatt FC to a barren draw in an evenly balanced match played at the Machakos Stadium. Modern Coast Rangers recorded their 3rd win of the season, a win that excluded them out of the relegation.

They are now perched at the 14th position in the standings. They beat Finlay’s Horticulture in Naivasha 2-3 with goals from George Owiti, Dickson Wachira and Ali Juma with the winner.F inlays goals were scored by Brian Osewe and Joshua Ademba.

In other matches played over the weekend St Josephs lost 1-2 to visiting Ligi Ndogo at the Afraha stadium in Nakuru with Kenneth Maritim grabbing a brace for the visitors.Ligi Ndogo are 9th on the log while St Josephs are in the 16th position.

West Kenya Sugar’s Keli Brown and Dennis Wafula scored in the 15th and 78th minutes respectively to hand the Sugar millers a precious 0-2 away win over MOSCA to send them to the 6th position with 23 points.MOSCA remains rooted at the 12th position with 15 points, a point ahead of bottom placed FC Talanta.

Agro Chemicals lost 1-2 to Oserian at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.Kiplangat Emmanuel and Philip Muchiri were the scorers for the visitors. Agro are 13th in the log while Oserian are 11th in the table.
