Women National Team coach Albert Kachinga has unveiled his final 20-member squad for the 2017 Cosafa Castle Cup championship to be hosted by Zimbabwe.

During a media briefing at Football House, Kachinga said that he had named six players from the 2014 Costa Rica FIFA Women World Cup, bringing in top grade experience to the fold.

Zambia is in Group A alongside hosts Zimbabwe, Malawi and Madagascar.

The opening match is against Malawi at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo with the second fixture against Zimbabwe 48 hours later.

In the final match Zambia will tackle Madagascar on September 17 at the same venue.

Zambia’s best finish at the tournament that was inaugurated in 2002 is a third place finish in 2002 and 2006.
The team is expected to leave for Bulawayo on Saturday
