KCCA FC beat SC Villa 3-1 in a Uganda Premier League match played on Tuesday 1 November at Philip Omondi Stadium.

Paul Muceerezi, Derrick Nsimbabi and Joseph Ochaya scored all important goals to hand KCCA maximum points from the match.Vitalis Tabu converted from spot for consolation goal.

The match started on a high note for KCCA with Derrick Nsibambi coming close in the 4th minute with a shot which resulted in a corner kick thanks to a Paul Mbowa deflection.

SC Villa however regained their dominance as KCCA players failed to connect passes towards the halftime mark. Paul Mbowa got booked for foul as the match gained in tempo.

Paul Muceerezi gave the home side first goal in 11th minute with  well taken  shot hitting the post before finding way into the net.

Coming from the tunnel, SC Villa made quick substitutions bringing in Abel Eturude for Paul Mbowa before introducing Sina Jerome for Alex Kitata and the striker was not disappointing at all.

Barely few minutes into the match, the super sub crossed in from outside the 18 yard box forcing defender Habib Kavuma to handle the ball inside the penalty box.

Vitalis Tabu stepped in to take the penalty in 60th minute calmly slotting it inside the net to level the matters but Derrick Nsimbabi restored KCCA lead in the 64th minute stretching his neck for a header for delight of thousands of fans.

KCCA outfit combined well in the 90th minute; Muzamir Mutyaba corner found Joseph Ochaya for a powerful header for the hosts to carry the day and extend their lead to seven points.
