Kitwe Giants, Nkana and Power Dynamos will square up in the 2018 semi finals of the Barclay’s Cup after beating Zesco United and Mufulira Wanderers respectively in the quater finals .
Nkana beat Zesco United 2-1 to advance while Power Dynamos had to wait for penalty shoot outs against Mufulira Wanderers in the last Quater finals of the four games to secure the last fourth slot.
Nkana has never won the Barclay’s Cup title and will hope to grab this one as they are deemed favorite to Win this one.
Power Dynamos have won the Barclay’s Cup twice in 2009 and 2011 but they have also reached the final on two occasion (2008 and 2012).
Nkana has played rhebfinal once in 2014 and were beaten by Zesco United 3-0.
The other toe of the semi finals pits the two Buffaloes in Young and Senior, the first time in the history of the Barclay’s Cup were the junior team will he facing the senior team in the competition .
The semi final is slated for Woodlands Stadium on the 20th October 2018 at 13:00hrs for the first game and 15:00hrs for the second game.
