KPL season finale: Gor Mahia await Crowning as City Stars, KCB toy with relegation

The final day of the 2015 season of the Sportpesa-sponsored Kenyan Premier League is set to be a dramatic one for teams hoping to survive relegation in the final rounds of matches set to take stage on Sunday 1 November across the country.

AllStars having been assured of relegation while both KCB and Nairobi City Stars remain in the fight to become the final club to avoid the drop. Gor Mahia vs Muhoroni Youth

Gor Mahia secured their third league title but still going unbeaten this season. League leaders Gor Mahia host 5th placed Muhoroni Youth a side they thrashed 3-0 in a Kenya Premier League top eight match. Muhoroni Youth played to a one all draw against AFC Leopards.but hope to get something from this match to enable them have they best ever finish to the league as Gor lethal striker Michael Olunga will have to score thrice and hope that the league top scorer Jesse Were does not find the net on sunday for him to win the Golden Boot this season
Nairobi City Stars vs Sony Sugar

Venue: City stadium

City Stars looked like they had set that best of last as the try to pull a great escape out of the relegation which took them last time around with impressive 1-0 win over Ushuru in their last outing the find themselves one win away from safety hope they will carry they form of their last two matches to final game. Sony Sugar on the other hand have looking at put the memories of the bad season behind them by finishing amongst the best 8 team in the league but the Millers should give to at they best against the Kawangware based side.

Western Stima vs KCB

Venue: moi stadium kisumu

KCB find themselves fight to survival for the second time running but this time the odd are against the bankers who have failing to take anything from their last two matches,and will miss the services of club top scorer Paul Kiongera who is suspended after receiving his fifth yellow card against ulinzi last weekend but have a chance at survival when they play Western Stima this weekend. Power Men have been far from they best this season but also have a chance to finish on the top half of the table if the manage to beat relegation candidates Kcb on the final day.
AFC Leopards vs Tusker FC

Tusker have blown hot and cold this and find themselves outside top three team,series of poor performance took with it Head Coach Francis Kimanzi but the brewers have a chance to end the campaign in the best way when the face a coachless AFC leopard who have had the fair of problem in and off the football pitch and the match against Tusker at this time of the season is not game the fan are hoped for. The match will be a good hunting ground for Jesse Were who led from the front with 20 goals this weekend and will be looking for more.

Chemelil Sugar vs Mathare United

Sofapaka have had second leg to forget after a super start to the league. Which led to the departure of Head Coach Sam Timbe,Their top three finish is under threat and a loss to Thika United could just summarize how their season. Thika United on the other side haven’t a good season they could have hoped for and are fighting to finish among the best eight. A draw will not be a good result for both clubs if the other result does not go they way.

Ulinzi Stars vs Bandari

Ulinzi Stars play host the Dockers on the weekend .The soldiers who are ranked 2nd on the log are on course to hit the 60 point mark which has proved elusive in past campaigns and Matano is keen on adding that feat to his long list of achievements in local football circles. Bandari have done enough to finish their campaign in a respectable position but never really looked a side capable of competing with the league’s best.
