Low Scores Dominate Friday action as Vipers reclaim top spot

Vipers FC dropped points for the second successive time-this time
against bogey side Entebbe FC but still managed to move back to the
top spot they lad lost to URA FC on Tuesday.

Vipers who have now failed to beat Entebbe FC in the top flight for
two consecutive seasons, managed a 1-1 at Wankulukuku against a team
fighting for survival.

Pengele Ibra scored for Entebbe Fc while Faruk Miya got his name on
the score sheet for Vipers who moved to spot on 37 points-one better
than URA. Entebbe remains the only team yet to win a league game this
season.

Soana completed a double over Kira Young and jumped to third on the
table with 36 points. Dan Wagaluka netted the game’s soliatry strike
at Kavumba Stadium.

In Jinja, BUL Fc were 1-0 winners over Simba thanks to a Joshua Masene
goal that takes the Jinja based side to 4th on the table with 34
points.

At Nakivubo stadium, Bright Stars FC are becoming some sort of masters
in picking up draws.

They drew 0-0 with bottom placed CRO who have been on a steady rise
with their performance as they also held BUL and police to stalemates.
In their opening five fixtures off the second round, Bright remain
unbeaten but have drawn four times.
