How will he perform this weekend?
SATURDAY – 14/04/18

Zesco United Vs Power Dynamos
Levy Mwanawasa
Live on SuperSport
Kelvin Kaindu will make his first appearance at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium as Power Dynamos Coach as his side take on the defending Champions in what looks to be the game of the week. The Power Dynamos Coach has seen his side lead the FAZ MTN Super League from start and he will maintain that with a victory in Ndola.

Zesco United will play their third game in a week after beating Nkana and Lusaka Dynamos on Sunday and Wednesday respectively. Both teams are undefeated so far this season and both have recorded one draw even when Zesco has played one game less. Zesco United will leapfrog Power Dynamos should they beat the Kitwe outfit with the difference of two goals. One goal will still keep Power Dynamos above Zesco United on goals forced.

United have a good recent record against their Opponents having not lost any of their last six games. They won four of the last six but then the last two games have produced stalemates. Extending the run to the last 24 games, everything is equal between these two sides with 9 wins for each, 6 draws and 9 losses. Hence, this game breaks the record and one will have to walk away with the bragging rights.

Power Dynamos have won their two games away yet Zesco is yet to win at home after drawing with National Assembly. There is also the dimension of George Lwandamina coming to rejoin Zesco United, which I believe, is a big move for the direction of the 2018 super league. Power Dynamos have already been tested but should they get this one right, then we should all stand up and say we have a coach in Kelvin Kaindu. However, I think George will get his first win on his return.

My prediction: Zesco United 2-1 Power Dynamos

Nakambala Leopards Vs Red Arrows
Nakambala Stadium
Nakambala Leopards is from losing away to Power Dynamos while Red Arrows is from losing at home to Kitwe United.

The visitors are sixth and the hosts are 12th but a win for Nakambala will take the Sugar boys above Red Arrows with one point. Nakambala have a 100% record so far at home having beaten two Kabwe outfits in Warriors and KYSA. That will give them a lot of confidence as they face Red Arrows who have collected four points on the road with the same opposition that Nakambala has beaten at home.

Red Arrows is not convincing and they will struggle again in Mazabuka were its very difficult for teams to pick points. Red arrows though have a very good record against Nakambala having won 11 from the last 18 games with 3 draws and 4 losses. The latest win for Red Arrows away in Mazabuka was on 16th July 2016 when Stainley Nshimbi scored the only goal in the 1-0 victory. This one though looks more of a draw

My Prediction: Nakambala Leopards 0-0 Red Arrows

Lumwana Radiants Vs Nkana
Lumwana Stadium
Lumwana Radiants have never beaten Nkana in the four games they have played in the League from 2016. There are two draws and two wins for Nkana and this is distributed into a win and a draw in 2016 and the same in 2017.
Lumwana has won one and drawn one at home this season while Nkana has one away win and the victim was National Assembly . Zeddy Sailet faces his former team straight from a draw away to National Assembly while Nkana who lost two in a row at home and another draw in the mid-week will be hoping this is the right time to get back to winning ways.
There is a sense of discomfort among Nkana followers and should Nkana lose this one, the voices will starting getting louder against Bestone Chambeshi. Lumwana Radiants is not an easy outfit at home hence going for a home win.

My Prediction: Lumwana Radiants 2-0 Nkana
Kabwe Warriors Vs Lusaka Dynamos
Godfrey Chitalu Stadium
I watched Kabwe Warriors away to Green Eagles last week and on the evidence of that game, this is not an easy encounter for Lusaka Dynamos who have won one and drawn one on the road. That is the same statistic that Kabwe Warriors have at home which is one win and one draw.

Chris Mugalu is the current top scorer in the league with three goals but Herrittier Nkonko will cherish the opportunity of going toe to toe with Mugalu with a goal after scoring the brace away in Choma.

I think there is so much of a draw written in this fixture.

My Prediction: Kabwe Warriors 1-1 Lusaka Dynamos
New Monze Swallows Vs Forest Rangers
Lwengu International Sports Complex
New Monze Swallows play their third game at home with the first two ending in a loss and draw. It’s evident that New Monze Swallows won’t have a lot of goals this season in the super league. Their attacking options are very poor and that gap between the Midfield and the strikers is their serious undoing.

They face one of the most disciplined teams in the league. Very stable and could punish you on a good day for Perry Mutapa and his boys. They count two away losses though the other was not played. I think they are stronger than New Monze Swallows and they will win this one.

My prediction: New Monze Swallows 0-1 Forest Rangers

Napsa Stars Vs Buildcon
Sunset Stadium
The almost identical stats are what we have in this game and the almost is because Buildcon has played one game less than Napsa Stars. The identical matter is that both these teams have already fired their Head Coaches due to the poor run of results and coincidentally the two coaches in coming are all but starting their reign in this encounter. Tenant Chembo could have had a feel of his team against Nkana but for Elijah Chikwanda, this will be his first feel of Napsa Stars.

That is what makes this encounter interesting, as both TC and Elijah will be hoping this is their chance to get a win for the first time this season for their new clubs. It will also breed confidence in the winning coach, as their EXCOS will be watching critically. I have confidence in both the caches and I think their Executives have had their best picks in the two.

Buildcon did a double against Napsa Stars last season with a 3-1 away and 1-0 at home and I don’t think Napsa Stars are ready to beat Buildcon.

My Prediction: Napsa Stars 1-3 Buildcon
Green Buffaloes Vs Green Eagles
Edwin Imboela Stadium
The Greens meet for the first time this season from two different fronts and Green Buffaloes will be assured of top two with a win in this one. Eagles could only go sixth if other results go their way.

Green Buffaloes are yet to lose a game this season in the league while Green Eagles have already lost two games and won two with one draw. GBFC look good in grinding results and I think they will get it again on this one.

My Prediction: Green Buffaloes 2-0 Green Eagles

SUNDAY – 15/04/18

KYSA Vs Nchanga Rangers
Godfrey Chitalu Stadium
KYSA got their first point away to Nkwazi in week five and they were almost winning that game. They get back to Kabwe and host Nchanga Rangers who have lost their last two games to Green Buffaloes and ZANACO.

Kysa have lost the only two games that they have played at home and that should be good news to Nchanga Rangers who have won one and lost one on the road. KYSA though will feel this is an opportunity to grab their first win in the league but Nchanga Rangers looks good and this will be another busy afternoon for KYSA but they could get their second point.

My Predictions: KYSA 1-1 Nchanga Rangers

Kitwe United Vs Nkwazi
Garden Park
Live on SuperSport
Nkwazi last played Kitwe United in 2006 and drew one 0-0 in Lusaka while the game played in Kitwe, Nkwazi won 1-0. Kitwe United was then relegated at the end of that season. I do not think United will be relegated this time around. They have great confidence and already have garnered the two away wins that is coupled with one draw.

Nkwazi are here for another big run and its not an easy one but I think Kitwe United will win this one and make it second win at home.

My Prediction: Kitwe United 1-0 Nkwazi

Zanaco Vs National Assembly
