MTN/FAZ super League side Napsa Stars has confirmed the signing of Five new players, this is according to a press statement released by the club through their Media and public relations officer Gwen Chipasula. The five players include two foreign players, a Ugandan striker  and a Congolese striker.

The club has signed Ugandan  and former Nairobi Stars striker Jimmy Bageya on a one year contract deal.

Bageya has joined the team and is since being drilled by Coach Tenant Chilumba and his technical bench in Livingstone where the team is for pre-season training.

Other players signed include Congolese striker Pumba Kannic from Lumpa football club.

Kannic has signed a two year contract deal with the pensioners.

From the local clubs, Napsa has signed two year contracts with former Nakamba Leopard striker Signs Chibambo, former Mighty player Austin Banda, Luka Chamanga from Lusaka Dynamos  and Dickson Chapa from Konkola blades.

The team is currently in Livingstone for pre-season training. The club ended 10th last season and will be looking to improve on that in 2017.
