Its two games so far for new comers Buildcon and they have begun their life in the Zambian Super League on a promising note.

The team from Ndola are determined to stay in the Super League and their acquisitions in the transfer window have shown intent.

In the two games that Buildcon have played, they have recorded 2 points with no goal yet.

Team Kopala occupy number 14 on the FAZ Super League table and are looking to improve on their points tally in their next game against Lusaka Dynamos at the Heroes stadium over the coming weekend on Saturday 22 April 2017.

I had a chance to watch Buildcon in their home games against Kabwe Warriors in Ndola and I must say they have a solid team that can challenge the traditional top 4 of Zesco United, Power Dynamos, Nkana and Zanaco.

The only problem is the striking force.  If Buildcon want to make a mark in the Zambian Super League, they need start scoring goals. You can’t survive in the top flight if your striking power is weak.

The likes of Omari Kipuku, Odongo Richmond, Jonas Sakuwaha, Clifton Miheso and Fidele Bosandja need to come to the party if the team wants to survive in the Zambian League.

In the game against Kabwe Warriors Jonas Sakuwaha was playing on the right side of attack and gave the opponents a torrid time but the visitors’ defense stood firm.

I am sure head coach Jadrane Hichan and his assistants John Lungu are working on tactics in training and will hope to register their first win against fellow big spenders Lusaka Dynamos in their next fixture.

Good luck to them!
