By Jafferson Ndhlovu,

Harare City FC seemingly have resigned on their coach Mike Madzivanyika and he could be shown the door. Definitely the days are numbered for poor Madzivanyika.

The Sunshine Boys have only recorded one will out nine games with three stablemates. Scoring just two goals. Not a healthy stat status for a club with good resources considering the obtaining scenarios in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

And Callisto Pasuwa the immediate past Zimbabwe Nation Team coach has emerged as the favourite. Pasuwa is available after the FAZ did not renew his contract. Citing poor performance for national team at 2017 Gabon Afcon tournament.

Pasuwa is no stranger to the local league. He coached Dynamos FC and won a record four consecutive league titles. But somehow Dembare decided they had had enough of those titles with Pasuwa. They parted ways.

In retrospect the departure of Pasuwa from Dynamos, the clubs fortunes have been going down.

If he joins Harare City it would be a good addition. He will be joining a few players that he has coached before at national team and at Dynamos. He has the pedigree to turn things around.

Mike Madzivanyika was thrust into the hot seat early this season after Harare City decided to terminate the services of Moses Bambo Chunga he was assistant to Chunga.

Prior to this he assisted Tau Mangwiro who is now at Triangle United. Mangwiro lost the job too but Madzivanyika was again kept on.

Nothing has been agreed yet for Callisto Pasuwa.
