Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes Uruguayan midfielder Guston Sirino can win the player of the season gong in the Absa Premiership 2018/19 season going by his form.

Despite making a mistake which led to Kaizer Chiefs first goal last week,Mosimane takes the view that the 27 year old deserves praise for the rich potential of his overall performance.

In addition the Brazilians coach highlighted the display made by striker Jeremy Brockie as well as recent recruit Lyle Lakay.

Speaking to the media he said Jeremy Brockie showed that he is trying this season and and he is a good player.

“Lyle Lakay showed good energy. We just have to correct one or two things. He must understand the way we play because he comes from an environment where they played differently”

“Sirino is coming up well.If he carries on playing the way that he plays,he could he could be player of the year”Mosimane said.

Mamelodi Sundowns beat Polokwane City 2-0 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night.
