Polokwane City head coach Luc Eymael has stepped down from his position.

Eymael joined Rise and Shine at the start of the season and after 22 matches in charge of the PSL side in all competitions,the former AFC Leopards coach has left the club.

“I just want to inform that I have given my resignation to the club at 1pm,” said Eymael in an interview with a section of local press.

“It is for private reasons and because I couldn’t agree on different things that happened in the last couple of weeks.”

Soka25east.com has however learnt that the tactician opted to walk out on the team due to unfavorable working conditions.

Eymael has previously served as the head coach of Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards and DR Congo’s side AS Vita Club.The 57-year-old helped the club finish in the best high position in first leg.
