Red Arrows Vs National Assembly
Nkoloma Stadium
15:00hrs

Wednesday
Red Arrows top four aspirations of the 2018 book is “A Tale of Two Teams”. One minute they are destroying teams and the next, they are barely surviving on the field. If you break it down, this team is not having any luck with the top 12 teams. Red Arrows has only beaten one team in the top 12 and that is Lusaka Dynamos. This is not a good sign from a team that seemed to have had very good preparation before the start of the season and had the much-discussed Spain Tour.

Red Arrows is still recovering from their big loss against Buildcon last week and now they are facing the functional National Assembly who are just one point below Arrows. Both teams can’t afford to leave points on the table and they will be coming out ready to play this Wednesday. Should be a fun match to watch.

Red Arrows are at home were they have only won once on the opening day of the season against New Monze Swallows. The other five games have ended in four draws and one loss.

Assembly has not been bad on the road and should be weary of what the team from zone one posses in this encounter. Assembly has won two on the road in Monze and Ndola but they have lost three games and drawn one. The last time these two teams met was on 15th August 2015 and a Francis Kimbo goal decided the contest for three points for Arrows. In the match played that season Assembly were the 2-1 winners with Bruce Musakanya getting the consolation for Arrows while National Assembly scored through Gift Lukwesa and Matthew Njobvu .

Red Arrows though in the last 12 games have superior head-to-head record, winning 6 games and only losing 2. The rest of the 4 games have been draws. National Assembly have lost their early sparkle while Red Arrows looks to be gaining ground but the progress is not as impressive as expected .
This in a bigger view looks like a fourth win for Arrows and their second at home.

My Prediction: Red Arrows 2-0 National Assembly
