By Fredrick Nadulli,

The rugged terrain that is the TPL has claimed yet another casualty.Ulinzi Stars coach Salim Ali has resigned.Sources close to
the military club indicate the former Sofapaka tactician handed in his resignation letter to the management a few days ago.

A series of disappointing results point to this,Ulinzi failing to register a single win in their last five outings, drawing all,and scoring only once in the process.Just last week club chairman Lt.Col. JS Mwinyikai came to the defence of the embattled coach, insisting he was going nowhere and that they were so far pleased with his perfomance.

It was a smokescreen as reportedly there was a simmering row, with the public already speculating about when, and not if,Salim would be shown the door.Previously at Mathare United and a six month stint at Sofapaka,he may have sensed the inevitable and opted to resign.

He follows Francis Baraza and Oliver Page who previously handled Western Stima and Top Fry Nakuru respectively, the former having since joined Muhoroni Youth.
