A 44th minute Ambrose Kirya strike separated the winners from the losers in Friday’s Uganda Premier League match pitting SC Villa and BUL Fc.

The 21st October match was from the word go fast paced with both teams seeking an early goal.

SC Villa had an upper hand for most of the first half, with Ambrose brought down just outside the box for a free-kick that slamed on BUL wall in the 12 th minute.Kasumba Omar also missed a clear shot in the 22 nd minute acting as a waking call for BUL.

With first half trickling down, Jogoos picked up pace and  after a number of threatening attempts, finally managed to slot in one through Ambrose Kirya thunderous shot.

Coming out of the half-time break, the SC Villa side appeared relaxed as the BUL pushed them to the edge for the first ten minutes of the second half.

With three points in the bag, SC Villa now move to third position, leapfrogging Soana with Jogoos having one match at hand.

BUL FC ,on the other hand, continue their fight against relegation, a competition they are in with Police and JMC Hippos.
