Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have signed a partnership agreement with Chinese Media Company StarTimes for their upcoming Super 2 match.

The agreement was signed at the Hearts of Oak Secretariat in Accra on Monday afternoon, 20th, August, 2018.

StarTimes will become the media and marketing right holders for the forthcoming super-2 games.

The Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, Mark Noonan and George Amoako signed on behalf of their respective clubs whereas George Lomotey signed on behalf of StarTimes.

With the second round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League on a halt following the Ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ investigative piece dubbed “Number 12” where the ex-GFA Boss Kwesi Nyantekyi and some officiating officials were seen receiving money to fix matches, the two clubs will use these games to keep fit and stay in good match condition.

The first leg of the Super 2 Clash will come off on Sunday 26th August and 2nd September 2018.

Both games will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
