Tanzania:Promoted Mwadui attracts veteran players

Mwadui FC of Shinyanga is proving to attract veteran players with its style of administration.

The administrators of the Club have dared opponents in the VPL 2015/16 to prepare for a marathon battle.They has vowed to use their financial muscle to explore and get the best of the best.

So far they have netted Antony Matogolo and Paul Nonga both of Mbeya City, Rashid Mandawa of Kagera Sugar, Jabir Aziz of JKT  Ruvu,Nizar Khalfan of Yanga and David Luhende of Mtibwa Sugar.

The club is sponsored by the famous Williamson Diamond Mine

The latest news surrounding the Club is the link of former Taifa Stars defender Henry Joesph Shindika to the outfit.

 

The immediate Mtibwa Sugar utility defender Henry has shown interest of joining  the Tanzania new boys .He revealed this yesterday after his contract with Mtibwa Sugar had expired.

His drive to join the Shinyanga based side which got promoted to the top tier in the just ended season was the administration and his desire to join his older friends in the Club.

“I still don’t know if I will continue playing for Mtibwa Sugar .I can still play for any other premier league club but I am more impressed by Mwadui FC.Of the four teams promoted, it’s Mwadui FC   that is well organized” he continued to say that old players that he was used to playing along with have joined the club and that he will be more comfortable playing alongside them.

The veteran players in Mwadui FC are Shaban Kadi, Athuman Idd, Uhuru Selemani, David Luhende, Niar, Razak Khalfan, Jabir Aziz, and Rashid Mandawa.

Other clubs that Henry Joseph has played for are Simba SC where he began his career and Norwegian side Kongsvinger.He is capped 48 times with the National team scoring twice
