WELLINGTON KAOMA AND DONASHANO HAVE BEEN AT IT FOR LONG

When I saw the Red Card in yesterday’s game, I said to myself not again! But it was too late it was already out and no matter how Donashano cried, Wellington was never going to rescind that card. I have only seen it once that a card could be rescinded and that was because the referee accepted that it was an error.

But in the Sunday final Wellington was spot on and that was a very correct decision and no one can fault him for that. Am still wondering as to why the Nkana fans even complained. Maybe because they were right in the stadium but some of us who watched it on TV , think Wellington was spot on and if there was any rule of giving two Red Cards , I would have added another one to Donashano.

Donashano is the captain and should lead by example especially in such big games were a lot of players are looking up to him. That was a serious let down on his part and that conduct deserves condemnation.

He is responsible for that loss as after that incidence it became clear that Nkana would not come back into the game especially after John scored the second.

Nkana were even lucky to still have continued with Walter Bwalya after pushing the referee….another Red Card and I hope the Association will discipline Walter Bwalya!!

Zeddy Sailet has a lot of work to do!!!!

Down memory lane

It was not the first time Donashano got on the wrong side of Kaoma! In 2013 in the Barclay’s Cup quatre final , Donashano saw Red after stamping on Allan Mukuka. Nkana lost that game 2-1 to Green Buffaloes. Actually Alan Mukuka scored in that encounter. That was on 15th September 2013 at Nkoloma Stadium.

Festus Mbewe scored the one goal for Nkana in the 90th minute but it was too late as Alan Mukuka and Stephen Kabamba had already done the damage.
