Will Kalaba play for Zambia again?

Chipolopolo midfielder Rainford has in the recent months received huge backing from majority of Zambian fans after being snubbed four times by coach Wedson Nyirenda in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Kalaba who is the skipper of the Chipolopolo has recently admitted that he still wants to play for Zambia but has been left out of the squad that will face Cameroon on Saturday after he fell out of favor with Nyirenda.

The TP Mazembe man has been in fine form for his club which has further amazed Chipolopolo fans as to why he has been left out of the team.

Wedson Nyirenda has not made any comments as regards to this and the player himself came out to wonder why he has not been called up for National duty

On August 24 2017, Kalaba wrote a passionate message to his fans who have been backing him during this period.

“I just want to tell all my fans who support me whenever I’m down or up. That they should be calm and relax, you will see me soon playing for my beloved country Zambia in life you can’t progress if u don’t have enemies God bless you all, RK17,” he said.

Have we seen that last of Kalaba or will he bounce back to the Chipolopolo? Time will tell.
