The Federation of Ugandan Football Associations FUFA confirmed that 42,000 tickets were printed for fans to attend the most anticipated match pitting host Uganda Cranes who will face off against Egypt Pharaohs   on Thursday, August 31 in Kampala.

On the other side, Egyptian Football Association EFA announced earlier that 60,000 fans will be allowed to attend  the second leg match which will be on the 5th of September at 20:00 CLT.

“In accordance with the FIFA standards, we have printed 42 000 but there maybe an extra of 100 or more because there might be errors in the process of printing,” said FUFA deputy CEO Humphrey Mandu said.

Egypt currently sits on top of their World Cup Qualifying Group with 2 wins in 2 matches. Uganda Cranes have 4 points after 2 matches and Egypt will be looking to clinch a win in both matches against them next week.
