Premiership newboys Yadah Stars chairperson Everson Chatambudza has refuted claims the club has appointed Rosemary Mugadza as interim coach.

Harare was awash yesterday with a bevy of rumours that former Mighty Warriors and current Harare City Queens Magadza will take charge of the trouble ship of Yadah Stars. This was after a calamitous decision by the club owner suspend the entire technical bench exposed his team to a 7 – 2 walloping at the hands of struggling Bantu Rovers.

Zimbabwe Football Association soon weighed to caution the club to put its house in order or face sanctions before the weekend matches. Seemingly the failure to find an interim coach while they deal with Jairos Tapela has forced the club management to swallow humble pies.

Reports indicate that Tapera is back and was will be at the training ground with the boys. It would also save as an advisement for the passionate football fan man of God Prophet Magaya to deal with matter cautiously.

Yadah will welcome “Gamecocks” Chicken Inn this weekend. This week eight encounter is set for the National Sports Stadium in Harare.

Interestingly, Tapera is no stranger to this kind of management by club bosses. He left his job at a named club in South Africa on similar grounds where reports of club bosses imposed themselves on team selections. Its yet to be seen if he will abandon the Yadah ship as the the actions are coming back to haunt him.

His team especially being debutants in the difficult league was doing too well. Hopefully they pick the pieces and start forging ahead.

Losing to giants Dynamos FC no matter what state Dembare is in should never be anything to worry any club. By any measure its result that pundits already gave to Dynamos way before the match was played. Yadah Stars losing to Dembare was never gonna get back pages headline. It’s the other way round that would sell papers and attract traffic to social media.

Meanwhile, Zifa has re emphasised that Yadah should not take their team to fulfil the fixtures without a technical team.
