Zambia U17 national team today faced Blue Bullets academy in two practice matches across which the young Chipolopolo scored four goals through Jonathan Kapelembe (penalty), Dennis Phiri,Enock Musonda and Michael Kafusha.

The technical bench used the match to finalise their team selection ahead of the Mauritius COSAFA youth championships that will take place between 21st and 30th of this month.

Assistant coach Charles Bwale said the team has already be picked and by Friday it will be made public

” The final list will be out on Friday. We have done the ground work and everything else is done,” said Bwale

” We have about three players on each position and the competition levels are very high. The number has to reduce even after this game,” Bwale added.

Zambia are in group B alongside Mozambique, South Africa and Madagascar and want to redeem themselves after last year’s age-cheating scandal.
