The MTN/FAZ premier league this weekend will be on hold as the Barclays Cup take center stage.As they say their is no competition where upsets and shocking results happen most like a cup competition.

One of the teams looking for silver ware in this competition is Police sponsored High Flying Nkwazi who will tomorrow 19th September 2015 lock horns with the record 9 times cup champions Mighty Mufurila Wanderers.The League is all but almost beyond their reach as Zesco seem to be running away with it.

Nkwazi Defender Wilbroad Mutale is very optimistic and says the team is ready.When asked how he rates his teams chances against the Record champions he said ” i will give my team 75% chance of winning the game.He we went on to say ”We very much ready for the game.Mutale is no stranger to to winning trophies having won the BWPL with Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Botswana last season.

”We pray to God as a team on the night before the game and Our midfield maestro Josphat Nkoma leads us in the prayers ”,Mutale answered when asked about what they do on the night before the game.

”We are going to reach the finals ”Mutale further added.Its left to the 90 minutes of football to decide who goes through to the semi finals.

NKwazi vs Mighty Mufurila wanderers will be the first of the double header at Nkoloma stadium.The gate charges have be put at 20 for open wing and 50 for grand stand.The gates will open at 10:00hrs and in case of a draw penalty shoot outs will decide who goes through to the semi-finals of the Barclays Cup 2015.
