At Thursday’s press conference where FAZ and Supersport unveiled a new US$5million
sponsorship for the league, Head of Club Licensing Erick Mwanza also unveiled before the media the new FAZ Premier League
structure which will be enacted into law at the reconvened AGM in October this year.

“Our football is in a privileged state. With this five-year extension with Supersport, live
television guarantees our clubs a new platform of opportunity and assures them of a stage from which they can further engage into and or expand commercial
ventures based on this guaranteed five year undertaking,” Mwanza said on behalf of FAZ
president Kalusha adding: “The challenge for us is to continue to work hard as one united family, to continue on the path of development and safeguard the interests, integrity and credibility of our game through exemplary and professional conduct on and off the field.”

“Related to the league, we are pleased to announce the work of the League Restructuring Taskforce was successfully
undertaken and a report presented to the Executive Committee which has adopted
this report and its findings and
recommendations.”

“The members of FAZ are such a unique and wonderful unit of people. On behalf of the FAZ president Kalusha, I would like to thank them once again for the time they took to engage in looking at the new structure,
debating it, refining it and giving it their total support. This brilliant idea is now going to be implemented and the members
of FAZ are unanimous in that resolve,” Mwanza said.

Mwanza said the new Premier League, which has received massive support from
FAZ Councillors, will transform the present structure into four (4) streams of the First Division which will be aired on TV and provide a new window of commercialisati
on for the division and clubs.
He said each first division stream will have 16 teams and has Zone One (Luapula, Copperbelt and North Western Provinces).
Division 1 Zone Two (Lusaka and Eastern Provinces); Division One Zone Three (Northern, Central and Muchinga Provinces) and Division One Zone Four has Southern
and Western provinces.

The Super League will be expanded to 18 teams with two teams being relegated from
the Super League at the end of the 2015 season.
The reconvened AGM to enact it into law will be held by 10th October 2015.
