Week 26 highlight
Nkana continued with their good run away from home and made the perfect start at Sunset, Harrison Chisala scored his first goal as a NKana player in the 21st minute. It was a cut in space pass from Walter Bwalya to Jacob Ngulube who laid it up for Chisala and slotted past goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata .

Zanaco struggled to find a response but Boyd Musonda found space from the cross to equalise in the 26th minute with his second goal in the 2018 campaign.

However, the visitors took the lead just before half time from a free kick which found Toaster all over the place and Walter did the all important pass and after a number of passes found Festus Mbewe in a good position to slot into an empty net and make it 2-1

Zanaco enjoying good start in the second half equalised yet again with the first real play of the second half through Rodger Kola getting his first goal of the season
It was 2-2 after 46 minutes.

Nkana still looked a threat on the break , in search of victory continued attacking and Walter Bwalya scored in the 57th minute to give Nkana the lead and sent Zanaco in the panic mode yet again.

In the 66th minute Idris Mbombo replaced Walter Bwalya and scored the fourth goal for Nkana via a penalty in the 79th minute after Boyd Musonda handled in the box

It was a deserved win for Nkana, who were the better side in the second half, but it was a bitter blow for Zanaco , who must have thought they had secured a point when they equalised after Kola had made it 2-2.

Else where
Forest Rangers were in the world of their own as they beat Kabwe Warriors at their backyard 3-0 to complicate the state of Warriors in pursuit of a CAF slot.

Nakambala Leopards and Kitwe United also picked up slender wins at home with Nkwazi and Nchanga Rangers as the culprits of handing over the three points.

Buildcon were the other winners away to New Monze Swallows in one of their rare away win from home.

It’s been a busy week.
